Chat, flirt or roleplay: choose your mood
You can arrive with an idea of the conversation you would enjoy. The next person still gets to choose theirs. Chatik’s mood buttons express an intention; they are not agreement between two people.
Choose a conversationChat: let an ordinary subject be enough
Talk about a discovery, ask for a recommendation or share a small story. You do not have to make it personal or romantic. “Something funny or something everyday?” is one way to agree on the tone.
Flirt: check that the spark is mutual
Ask before moving from a friendly chat to flirting. A warm reply does not create permission for sexual messages or photo requests. If the answer is no, change the subject or leave kindly.
Roleplay: agree on the scene
Suggest a genre, establish boundaries and let each writer control their character. The offer/find-story choice is an intention, not a guarantee of a complementary partner.
A mood is not a matching filter
At present the search uses mutual gender preferences, not category, language, age or hobby filters. You may meet someone whose plans differ. Ask which language and conversation style feel comfortable before starting.
Keep or change the direction together
You can say “Want to keep this light?” or suggest a different subject. One person changing their mind is enough to stop a theme. A long exchange never creates a debt of more messages.
